I have no self control and cant loose weight?

Well, I can. I'm 15, and I seem to be ALWAYS hungry. I eat and eat and eat, and I probably need to loose a good 10 - 20LBS because of it. I mean, I'm not extremly obese or over weight, I'm just chubby in the butt, hips, theighs, and a bit on my stomach. I feel so embarassed to go out and I only have about two jeans and a few shirts Im not completly under confident to wear -- I try to excercize, but I run on the treadmill for 3 minutes, get really tired, and then go sit at the computer or eat. I try to do excercizes, but then they get too hard and i dont have the care to actually do them. I also tell myself im going tos top eating, or im going to not eat after 7pm, but I do anyway. I have no dicipline. I also eat junk food over healthy foods. What do I do!I have no self control and cant loose weight?
I hear getting a hobby will do wonders. It keeps your mind focused on something other than food. Some people make working out their hobbies. I know my friend knits, so that her hands are always occupied, so that she can't reach for food.

I seriously mean it though, person. You need self-control. You need to STOP. EATING.

And I apologize for being a loserface with my previous answer. It's just...you remind me of someone I know. She's just like you, and then she calls me up at ridiculous hours and then asks me to stay up with her because she binged at night.

But that's, in no way, your fault. You know? But then reading this...it reminded me of her, and it just...made me mad. Anyways, I apologize. Hope this answer's better.I have no self control and cant loose weight?
Ask your family to help you out by buying healtheir foods. That way you won't be tempted to pig out when you're hungry. Drink a lot of water, too, and before you catch yourself at the snack cupboard just look down and think to yourself, ';It's going to get worse if you keep doing this.'; Imagine yourself skinnier, and you'll want to improve.
well, i am exactly the same way. i keep in shape with tennis. when i finish practice i get really hungry, but by the time i arrive home where there is food, im not hungry anymore. your body with cool off and you wont want to eat after you excersize if you wait a little. go to the gym rather than running at home, that way you can cool off before you make it to the kitchen.
1, Watch your carb/Calorie intake

2, Eat regular meals at regular times (helps set matobolism if done over time.)

3, Exercise regularly (twice a week is decent, but the more the better).

4. Use self control. You DO have it, but sometimes you have to grow up and do whats better for yourself more than 'what feels good' at the time.
I feel your frustration. I am the same way - uncontrollable eating, especially at night.

I found this new appetite suppressant called Caralluma Burn. You can find out more info at http://www.controlyourhunger.com.

I have been on it for about a month and it has not only helped my cravings, but I have lost almost 10 pounds as well.

Good luck!
i have done the exact same thing!

what i did?

i went out for a sport.

especially where i live, volleyball.

the coaches are super hard on you.

if you think you can be up to it, try it.

i lived through it. you can get muscles and get in shape. (:
You just need more motivation.
I'm the same age as you and I have the same exact problem and it makes me so mad! I only have like two pairs of jeans and a few shirts, too, and it's kind of disheartening to see that. Especially when I want to try on a certain shirt or something and it doesn't fit.

What I do is just try to keep myself motivated. What motivates me is clothes. I know that sounds so superficial and ';typical ungrateful teen';, but I'm so sick of wearing jeans and t-shirts. I just usually go to fashion sites (Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe or something) whenever I'm feeling unmotivated and tell myself that I'm going to fit into a size small by December of this year so that for my birthday I can go shopping for actual clothes! :) That usually keeps me motivated, but I crack sometimes (I had pizza and french fries tonight for dinner! Grr). You just have to find what makes you click. Maybe you want to get fit for the sports season? Slim down for clothes? Or slim down because you want to do it just for you. (I'm the last two lol)

But also remember that you're beautiful, even if you don't think so. That sounds REALLY corny, but it's true!

Try taping a picture of a former you or someone that you admire and would like to look like (body-wise) to somewhere that you go a lot. The fridge? Closet? That should be a constant reminder. Also, a set list really helps! Here's some of mine:

- Exercise for at least 30 minutes a day.

- Drink WATER WATER WATER!

- Don't eat after 7, but if I do, eat light.

Once you start and get yourself into a schedule (it's been scientifically proven that it usually takes 2 weeks to get into a schedule), you should be able to get better at this!

Good luck. You can message me if you need advice or just a weight loss buddy or something lol :)
Well Obviously you should ELIMINATE JUNK FOOD for at least a whole MONTH. I know how you feel when you exercise, you get that REALLY ANNOYING TIRED feeling inside of you telling you to stop. Believe me, I was like that too, if you exercise everyday that feeling will slowly GO AWAY and you will have way more energy, IM PROOF!

You should go outside everyday and WALK for atleast 45 min a day to get you started (if you don't exercise alot)

DON'T Stress YOURSELF, start off SLOW.

You are so lucky you have a Treadmill in your home, I have to go outside everyday in the Blazing HEAT. Use that to your advantage, evertime I jog people always look at me its kind of annoying. You can Walk on your Treadmill everyday for 45min and day by day you will get better at it and feel STRONGER. In the Priacy of your own home.

I was always the guy who couldn't even jog for 40 seconds without passing out. Now I can JOG for exactly 1hour without stopping, if I can do it you can too!

GOODLUCK! :)
Scientifically, you are always hungry because of puberty. Mentally, you are letting your fear and disappointment caused by past cravings take over your eating habits. If you push yourself everyday to exercise (like 10 minutes each day, then start adding more minutes to your work out time), and not deprive yourself of the foods you like (as long as you eat them in fair amounts), you'll be fine. It takes time, and is really hard work. But one day you'll get used to it, and like what you feel inside and see in the mirror, and these findings will encourage you to continue. Good luck! =)
1. you dont need to starve or deprive yourself.

for a workable diet

here is what my dietician suggests . follow a practical diet. start your meal with a soup or a huge salad. this fills u up. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50 per cent veg, 25 per cent carb.remember potatoes, corn and peas come in carbs category, 25 per cent protein.this will prevent cravings too.have a protein shake if you like too.an occassional treat is OK. have a snack every three hours. fruit ideally berries, or soy nuts. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs. switch from white rice and bread to brown. eat 900gms of veggies a day.Lose a kilo a week. that is permanent loss. pick an exercise regime you like.

get a pedometer and try to take 10,000 steps everyday.

2. try taking a protein shake. it will make a diff to your energy levels.

3. if you dont like sports, try trampoline.you get mini foldable ones too. (Check the reboundair site) 15 min (or 5 min of sprinting) on a tramp = 30 min on a treadmill. + a whole lot of other benefits too.http://ezinearticles.com/?Trampoline-As-鈥?/a>

4. re junk food - o prevent cravings, there are two ways:

1. the reason you crave in the first place, is because something is missing in your diet. so do eat carbs, protein in moderation along with and vegetables.

2. My dietician swears by Glutamine powder for reducing cravings and also improving nutrient absorption.

Just start out easy. Don't try to jump into anything to fast. When you go to eat, try to do something else.. Focus on something other then food, if you want to snack, instead of snacking drink a glass of water and go for a walk. Just try to distract yourself from eating.. Once you get your eating under control, you can start to add in exercise.. Don't try to do too much at once or you will get over whelmed. You're still young, so you should change your habits as soon as possible, it wont get any easier when you get older. =]

Good Luck!
You ';can't lose weight';? That's you giving up and and admitting defeat right there. ';I run on the treadmill for 3 minutes, get really tired, and then go sit at the computer or eat'; That's you giving up again. You're really tired because all you do is sit at the computer and eat! If you don't give up, and work through it, you won't feel tired anymore.

';I try to do excercizes, but then they get too hard and i dont have the care to actually do them'; What, you expect weight loss to be easy? You don't care to do them? Then you don't care to lose weight.

Sticking to it is the only way you will see results. If it's so hard, have a close friend lose weight with you also. You will support each other and help each other get through it.
Either you want to change or you do not. Or you are not emotionally ready or mature enough to do it. You decide. How badly do you want it? What are you willing to do? What will it take for you to want it enough to do what's necessary to get the job done? What are your obstacles and what can you do to overcome them? Whenever you find yourself saying, ';I CAN'T do'; something, ask yourself next what you CAN do. For instance, if one of your obstacles is eating junk food--where does that food come from? Are you the one buying it or is someone else? You CAN ask someone else not to buy it. You CAN shop for groceries when you've already eaten and aren't making choices based on hunger. You CAN tackle stress that might be leading you to eat stuff that is less healthy. You CAN learn to exercise and to enjoy it.

So, to sum up:

1. How badly do you want it?

2. What CAN you do instead of what you're doing that isn't working?

I'm a nutritionist, trust me..

Its a vitamin supplement that is COMPLETELY all natural. NO DRAWBACKS!! it is simply fruit and vegetables capsulized into a small vitamin pill.

It will bring you back on track to a healthy diet because it makes you want to eat healthier food by a meathod called GODR (Good Ora Digestive Requirement) and this basically means that junk food will simply make you feel gross and icky.

On the other hand you will lose your bad food cravings and gain good food cravings. and on top of that it will keep you HEALTHY without the use of chemicals or artificial ingredients that make you lose weight in an unhealthy manner.

As a nutritionist and MD i HIGHLY recommend juice plus to help you lose the desired weight.

and on top of that if one of your parents buys it you can get it for FREE

i think since your 15 your a little overage but you can just say that your 13... thats what i did with my son.
