Are hippies a cult? if so, how is status and power used to control group members?..when theirs is no leader?

why did people want to become a hippie? Are hippies a cult? if so, how is status and power used to control group members?..when theirs is no leader?
Hippies are of a different generation. You will never understand them. You will not understand their CULTURE, their generation, their views, nor what they stood for or what they believed in!Are hippies a cult? if so, how is status and power used to control group members?..when theirs is no leader?
Hippies are not a cult. Therefore the second question is irrelevant. People don't become hippies. You call people hippies. I defy you to find a self-described ';hippie'; who isn't a total cosmopolitan, rich-mommy-and-daddy tool.
back in the 60s they thought they could control the world. they thought they could change the ways of the world. in the real world they lose. they were the ones who was changed
No being a hippy is a lifestyle, you can be a hippy by yourself, cults have hierarchical leaders with different members.
