No period since i got on birth control?

I got on BC on the 7th,and even though i was cramping,because i was getting on my period soon i took my pills on the 12th.I was suppose to take them the Sunday i got on my period,but i forgot,so i took them Monday..its the 19th,and im still not on my period...Im not preggo,so what could it be?No period since i got on birth control?

Uh I thought birth control was meant to stop you having periods i.e you're not releasing eggs and hormones do not prepare the uterus for a baby so there's nothing to shed and no period.
No, I don't think so. When I first started the pill I was told that what the pill does is it swells up the tubes that leads to where the eggs are. Perhaps you are having your period but the blood isn't coming out because it can't. Of course this is just my theory. But go to the doctors to find out.
Some people don't get periods at all when they are on birth control and it's perfectly normal. However I would call your doctor just to make sure that he/she doesn't have any other concerns because they know your medical history. Good luck
most start pills the sun or mon..after a period....so let say you start on a friday...then there sat then sunday..you dont take the pill until the next sun or monday...well thats the way it was for me...anyway...
