Hey, the computers at my school love annoying me. I logged onto a work station without a volume control and it applied that to my personal settings. This wouldn't normaly be a problem, but I can't acsess ';sound and audio devices'; in the control panel, because I don't have administator privilages. This happened once before, too, but I can't remember how I fixed it the first time. I have no idea what to do. Please try to remember that I'm a restricted user when making your suggestions. Perhaps a third party aplication would force it into the system tray? Any help is good help.No volume control in the system tray, inaccessible control panel?
No guarantees, but you COULD try ';VolumeTouch';--it will also give you keyboard + mouse control of volume levels (if it works):
