White Discharge, Birth control? No Period?

My girlfriend has been on birth control for 5 months.

We've had sex a few times protected. There was one or two times though that the condom got stretched out, but I'm not sure if anything leaked.

Other then that, the condoms were fine.

She's taken her pills fine and correctly. She OD'd on advil by accident during the 2nd week of taking her pills and had to get her stomach pumped.

It's the last week of the birth control pills. Usuaully she gets her period on Wednesday, but she hasn't got it yet.

She took a test and it came back positive, yet I think she took the test wrong.

Does anyone know what the heck is going on?White Discharge, Birth control? No Period?
yeast infection and she is probably pregnant too

yeast infections are common during pregnancy even in the very early stagesWhite Discharge, Birth control? No Period?
Well there aren't too many ways to mess up a pregnancy test. You should definitely pick up another one.

She could be missing her period if she was stressed out. Or she could also be pregnant.

Taking antibiotics will make birth control ineffective.

The white discharge could just be cervical mucus. That happens around the time of ovulation.

Just get another test and see what happens.

If you think it would be easier for her have her urinate in a plastic cup and then stick the pregnancy test in the cup.

Hope this helps.
When i started taking Birth Control I would get my period right away as time went on i started getting my period the last two days of the ';period week'; pills. Wait until she's at least 5 days late take another test. Or to get a definite answer make an appointment at planned parenthood to get a pregnancy test.
The white discharge could be a yeast infection. The positive pregnancy test could be a baby.

Either way, the sooner she goes to her OBGYN the sooner you will know.

Don't be afraid. The situation will not heal itself either way.

Face the future without fear.

Good luck and Happy Holidays!
Do you mean a pregnancy test came bk positive? There is a good chance she is pregnant then. I would have her make a gynecologist appointment soon. Ask her how she took the test bc its hard to take one wrong all you do is pee on it

I hope everything works out goodlluck
Pregnancy can happen, period.

White discharge may be a yeast infection.

Not much to screw up on a pregnancy test -- pee on the stick. If there is a question about it, pee on a different one.
there's no such thing as wrong positive pregnancy test. There's such thing as a wrong negative, not a wrong positive. So yea she's definitley pregnant.
her period could come late that happens sometimes.

or she might be pregnant go to a doctor and ask them to give her a test they ALWAYS NEVER FAIL.

help?

sounds like she is pregnant to me. Getting her stomach pumped prolly pumped her birth control before it could work. I would wait a week adn if still no period take another test. then see a gyno either way to see what is going on.
test=positive

no period

what do you think is going on? Just to make sure, just go to the doctor. I'll cross my fingers for you.
How about not posting the same question twice? I already answered the same one. Be respectful of the answers you get the first round because you're just wasting board space.
I would have her take another pregnancy test. If she says yes go to the doctor for confirmation.

Even if you do use condoms she can still get pregnant.
why are you sharing all this information with me?

No matter what precautions you take other than not having sex, there is a chance for pregnancy. She should go to the doctor.

see a doctor!
I know the answer you want to hear is that she is not pregnant but you've undertaken some risky business. As long as she has been taking her birth control pill correctly for 5 months then everything should be fine. Whats concerning however is that when she got her stomach pumped, there is a chance that it the pill taken on that day did not enter the blood stream and therefor you would not have been covered. If you think she has taken the test wrong then ask her to take a re-test and go from there.

Also to inform you the pill is not 100% protection from pregnancy. There is still a slight risk. If she is stressing about being pregnant this can actually delay the period. I would wait it out for a short while and then start to panic.

Good luck
