False negatives happen all the time. Is your period usually pretty regular? If so, it sounds like you are pregnant. I missed my period, kept taking pregnancy tests--- they came back negative. Get a blood test done. Some people get negative tests when pregnant because the hormone is not strong enough for a urine test. I would call your doctor and make an appointment for a blood test just to make sure.
WHEN did you take the test? If you haven't taken one in the last few days, take another.
Then see the doctor.
