When no make-up is allowed in secondary school, how does it give parents more control over their teenagers?

By the way peeps, its a private school, but not the ones for troubled teens so yeah, lol just in case someone gets mixed up like this chick from my other question, but if u get mixed up...its okay..?

This is for my philosophy and ethics letter i kinda have to stay away from to many emotional comments lol.

thanks guys :DWhen no make-up is allowed in secondary school, how does it give parents more control over their teenagers?
It doesn't give parents more control. control is in the mind, if your parents have it mentally over you they can control you, if they dont they cant. Schools brought this in ages ago it started with uniforms so disadvantaged kids wouldn't be picked on so when kids lose their right to express themselves they will choose other ways to show their individuality. there are some schools who state what colour underwear students can wear, i dont think it will end when they ban something students will find something else. When no make-up is allowed in secondary school, how does it give parents more control over their teenagers?
Poor Joanne,

its o.k. to ignore her, maybe she is a teenage version of a feminist or something, they often get there philosophy/theory confused.

i would say Vanity is a pandoras box of trouble for teens and women.

Know what i mean... Plumping up kissable lips, darkened mysterious eyes, shaped with make-up fror effect can be very alluring.

dangerous.

its like a button you press to release the dam water into the waterway.

Make up is something that is always changing as your face does. There are millions of cosmetics and they are like a drug to women....

Kids have all the time in the world so it is easy for them to become swamped esspecially with all the new emotions and feelings, first love etc. and vying for boys attention... and all its dangers.

i think they are right to focus on cosmetics/make-up. There are many more resons buti am sure you candiscuss or work some of them out from what i wrote, itaint a bad start.... best wishes.
